A small studio for people building something new.
Lassodo is an independent design and product studio based in Chennai, India. We help startups and solo founders turn ideas into products, websites and brands, and we stay with them from the first call to launch.
Who we are
A small, senior team of designers and developers with 25+ years of combined experience designing and building digital products, websites and brands. We keep the studio small on purpose: the people you talk to are the people doing the work.
What we believe
- Clarity before pixels.
- We get goals, users and constraints written down before we design anything.
- Show the thinking early.
- You see flows and direction while changes are still cheap.
- Design is only done when it’s built.
- We design with the build in mind, and often build it ourselves.
- Small and senior.
- No hand-offs, no layers of account management.
Built around US time zones
We work primarily with clients in the US, and we plan our days around your time zone. Calls happen during your working hours, and work keeps moving while you’re offline, so there’s progress to review when you start your day.
We work remotely, mostly in writing, with calls when they help. AI is part of how we work, so we move fast without cutting corners on craft.
Tools
Figma for design. Webflow, Framer, WordPress and Shopify for websites, and custom code for products and apps.
Our own product
We also build our own products. AudioCraft, our music-learning app, was designed, built and shipped by us.
